And… Here We Are
The beginning of a new adventure! After several months of designing, re-designing, coding and re-coding, my new personal website is online and running. But first, if you came on this website without already knowing me (really?) I invite you to read my About page.
During its development many people asked me why a website?
Well the answer is pretty simple. I see myself as a Filmmaker / Visual FX Artist / Motion Graphic Designer / Website Designer. Nowadays, Employers do not want to sit and read formal CVs anymore. They want practical examples of your previous work. They look for new talents by browsing the web, forums, creating contests… My main objective with this website is to showcase my work but also share my thoughts on what’s happening in the Media industry.
A Quick Guided Tour
On the top of the website you can find the main menu navigation. This one is divided into 3 categories. The Blog, an About and Contact page. A fourth one ; Portfolio is in “Work in Progress” state and will be added to the menu as soon as it will be pretty enough to be displayed. In the header you have a dynamic section displaying my latest entry on Twitter (this will be automatically updated ) as well as a search bar providing you an instant access to anything on the website.
Each time I will publish a new post in the Blog section, you will have the date of its publication and the number of comments automatically displayed on the left of the title. On each post published there will be a Comment section at the bottom where you can share your thoughts be notified by email for new comments.

This is a pretty new adventure for me and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have so far. In my next post, I’ll give you a behind the scene/making of the website concept/design.
